Angela’s Garden Notes:

To find Pink Double Delight in white is a grower’s dream. Growers love Pink Double Delight because it finishes quickly, has multiple blooms per stem at a young age and the habit and size are perfect for shipping.  White Double Delight is exactly the same.  The beauty of a sport or mutation is often times, you get the same plant and all of it’s traits in another color.

White Double Delight makes the perfect border companion for Pink Double Delight.  It mixes well with coreopsis, iris. upright sedums, liatris and lobelia in my garden.  It also makes the perfect companion for Knock Out roses because they bloom all summer too. Knock Out roses, liatris and White Double Delight make for a lovely and non-offensive red, white and blue garden.  Try it!  You’ll love it.

In the field and in containers, it is amazingly hard to tell Pink Double Dleight and White Double Delight apart until they bloom.  They’re our twins and we are excited to be able to offer tham as a complete middle of the border package.  Mix them with Echinacea ‘Raspberry Truffle’ and you’ll have a stunning, all-summer combination unlike no other.
