THE FLOWER POWER™ SERIES
Named for their dark foliage and brightly colored flowers, the Flower Power series conjure up an easier, yet some might say darker time in the early 70’s when Peace, Love and Happiness were something everyone wanted to achieve. Upright, yet bushy plants with dark purple foliage are adorned by self -leaning canna blossoms in a rainbow of colors.
This year, we are introducing ‘Purple Haze’, the first canna in a the Flower Power series by tropical plant breeder Brian Williams of Louisville, KY, Purple Haze will stand out against a green foil or other contrasting background. this is the perfect architectural plant for large containers and or the mixed border. Look for more striking foliage and interesting flower colors to come from this series in the future.
