Weigela Rainbow Sensation™

Lovely, variegated foliage and pink flowers.

An old fashioned plant, Weigelas bring to mind some our most beloved memories; the fragrance of spring, a burst of pink or red trumpet-like blooms, perhaps a shrub flowering near your Grandmother’s doorstep. In the last 20 years, a great deal of work has gone into breeding for new improved varieties.

This new garden sensation represents a whole new class of weigela featuring gently arching stems that add grace to the garden. A compact grower, it provides a rainbow of color, and as an added bonus, the stems can be cut for flower arrangements. This tough plant is especially suited for urban environments where it performs beautifully with minimal care. It is extremely hardy, and thrives in a wide range of growing conditions.
