Phlox paniculata Thai Pink Jade
Thai Pink Jade comes from my good friend Tasanee Mack. Tasanee and I met while I was working at Homestead Gardens, one of the east coast's largest retail garden centers. Tasanee was their resident landscape designer and she had been growing and letting phlox paniculatas go to seed to see which selections could handle her very moist, humid garden overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. Over the years, Tasanee let mother nature take her course and decided the strong would prevail. They did and Thai Pink Jade is the first of her incredibly mildew resistant selections to be introduced. There will be more.
Soft, cherry blossom pink blooms look like porcelain flowers with their perfectly crisp, squared edges. Dotted with a darker pink eye and displayed against a backdrop of deep green, glossy foliage, this new compact, floriferous phlox will quickly become a star in any garden setting—no matter how hot, dry and humid it is. Bring on the heat and the humidity and even the lack of air circulation. This Asian princess will thrive in any condition.
Please note: We don't sell plants. Asking your local retailer or googling the plant name is the easiest way to find someone selling our plants.
